Community Garden

Soaring grocery prices.

Heavily processed foods.

Chemicals in the food supply.

Sense of community.

These are some of the reasons our community garden exists.

Experience Community

Come join a fun space to grow healthy food while experiencing plants, bugs and nature.

Come meet neighbors, make friends and unplug from the online world.

Get a bit of exercise, fresh air, and reap the harvest of your efforts!

Weekly gardening times, shared responsibility, activities for the kids, and monthly barbecues and workshops.

There is no cost to participate!

Healthy Food

Organic is better. No harmful chemicals, no pesticides. Just real food as God intended.

Organic is expensive. Without chemicals to artificially spur growth, yields are lower. Without pesticides, fruit and vegetables don't have that shiny, perfect look.

Yet, we know that many of these chemicals are harming us.

So we are committed to growing a healthy, organic, natural garden.

Each participant / family will share in the abundance. It's gardening, so no guarantees, but we see plenty of salads in your future.

How it works

We will have several recurring, scheduled gardening times (i.e. Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-6pm) throughout the week. Gardeners will be required to work at least once a week, but can certainly come more often!

Working in the garden will be social and stress-free, and will include checking plants, harvesting produce, weeding, watering as needed, adjusting watering systems and timers... you know, gardening!

This is a community garden. We'll grow as a community and share in the harvests.

We'll have special projects for the kids,  and hope to have monthly gardening and "homesteady" workshops.

This is our first year, so get in early and "grow" with us!
